Datleline Waynesburg ,OH . I'm sitting in a line of trucks waiting to get unloaded at Minerva enterprises . Its an old mine that they are filling with construction debris and trash and asbestos , all kinds of good stuff . I've gotta climb about a 10% grade swtchback dirt road to get to the top and then drop my trailer and they will come over and dump it then I'm good to go ....up to Cleaveland that is to make a pickup to take back to Portland,ME for Wednesday but the way the weather is looking it might not get there til I do on Thursday :)...
I have been on a long trip in a while and its been a couple of years since I've been to Ohio . The people are pretty nice in general . I saw a sign this morning made of a sheet of plywood and big wide tape lettering in front of a little farm house that read "Betty Ellen's Hair Salon" that's pretty country right thar. Two houses down from there was an old pickup totally painted camouflage.
Its kinda cool going on these trips once in a blue moon but I hate being away from Cheri and the kids :(
You know I was thinking last night as was watching the Auburn football game in my hotel room (and I was typing a boog but somehow I didn't save it correctly so I lost the whole thing) that because of an innocent type-o on facebook my blog is called a boog so that makes me a "booger" which in turn makes you guys that read/follow this boog my "boogies"so I was thinking maybe Ill commission my old high school friend Mark (www.markphelanart.com amazing stuff)to make up some Tee shirts that say "I'm one of Matt's boogies" or "Matt's my favorite booger" to send to you guys , let me know what you think
Now that I know I can blog from my Boogberry Ill be doing it more often . I can type much faster with my thumbs than at the computer .
Well my turn is coming up to climb the hill gotta go

Back by Popular Demand
Ok so I'm not "back" from anywhere and this isn't necessarily going to be "popular " and some people I told about the blog practically "demanded " I not do it. But I thought it was a catchy title :0)
So to start off Im not sure how far I'll go with this, typing is a painstakingly long process for me and if you guys are looking for correct grammar and spelling you might as well stop right here and I'll refund your money at the door. If you asked me even a couple of months ago if I would ever boog blog , I would've absolutely said "not a chance" but lately have been toying with the idea and decided to give it a go.
I've never kept a journal or needed to write down my thoughts and really used to think about bloggers as who cares what you had for lunch or why are you writing about your goldfish not sleeping well last night and so on and so on but now here I is doing my own ( with incredibly long run on sentences).
So lets get write to it! ( on purpose).
Cheri is not to crazy about this new liitle phase I'm in of wanting to blog but ironically it was something she said to me that kind of lit the fire to want to do this . She called me a "Floater" , let me explain...I always use this analogy of sitting on a raft on a lake just paddling along on the surface and having a good time and not diving in under the water and seeing all the crap and muck and junk thats under the surface. That lake is your daily life and if you just float on the surface on your cool little raft you don't really ever get hurt or people mad at you or fights etc... and I'm that floater and I used to think it was good to be a floater but am now convinced I gotta start diving and get more involved with people and relationships and all the other stuff under the surface....SO WHO'S WITH ME?
I know , I know you're all saying "that's it? That's what he started his blog with? zzzzzzzzzzz
It will get better ( i hope) and hopefully will be able to boog from my BB when I'm on the road delivering all you guyseses stuff :) and pray something interesting and funny happens so I can tell all youthousands tens of readers that will follow this boog .
side note: I type about 3 words per minute so using my equally exceptional math skills , it took me about an hour and a half to type this.
